The Elk Conservation District is now taking applications for their fall 2017 Agricultural Enhancement Program.
The district will be assisting their cooperators with cost share practices of brush management (woody and non-woody species), division and exclusion fence, fertilizer, frost seeding, and lime.
Applications for all practices except frost seeding will be accepted until July 14. Applications will be reviewed and ranked for approval at the ECD Aug. 15 board meeting contingent upon the availability of funding. Approved practices will need to be completed and invoices submitted to the district by Dec. 19.

Approved frost seeding applications will need to be completed and invoices submitted to the district by March 1, 2018.
A second sign up period for brush management (woody and non-woody species), division and exclusion fence, fertilizer, and lime will be from the end of the first sign up period until January 19, 2018. Applications will be reviewed and ranked for approval at the ECD Feb. 20 board meeting contingent upon the availability of funding. Approved practices will need to be completed and invoices submitted to the district by June 1, 2018.
