Businesses passed out candy trick-or-treaters in the parade.

Halloween looked a little different in Clay County as we were ‘gold’ on the COVID map.  Wanting to ensure each ghoul and goblin could show off their costumes and get plenty of goodies, Deliciously Vivid jumped into action.

With the help of many local businesses and individuals, the group planned a Halloween parade. There were roughly 300 parade participants on Halloween evening, with over 20 businesses handing out candy.  Though different from the normal Halloween festivities, all had fun and enjoyed the evening with no issues or hang-ups.

You could see many businesses celebrating, as well.  Employees dressed up and handed out candy for customers and children.

With over 300 participants, those passing out candy had to make sure they had enough!
