The Clift of the rock is a safe place. The Lord told Moses, “Thou shall stand upon a rock.” Exodus 17:6.
The moment you accept Christ into your life you are building your new life on the rock which is Christ. There is a place roped off from the devil he cannot cross the bloodline of Christ. Where is this place? And it shall come to pass while my glory passersby that I will put thee in a Clift of the rock. Exodus 33:22.
Why is the Clift of the rock a safe place? If you fall on the rock you will hit the rock. If you jump you will hit the rock. If you fall back you will hit the rock. If you turn to the right the rock is there. If you turn to the left the rock is there. Psalm 91:1 says ‘He that dweller in the secre place of the most highest shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. No wonder David said, surely the lord is in this place. The scary cord, Joshua 2:18-21. There is only one way you can get out of the Clift of the rock and that is to fall face forward.
Yes the lord took care of that place. Another place god told Moses I will put thee in a Clift of the rock. I will cover thee with my hand while I pass by. When you fall face forward out of the Clift of the rock you fall into the hand of God. Praise God what a place of rest of god his hand is strong and safe and secure. Sometime ago a leading insurance company developed a commercial entitled get a piece of the rock. In so many words they were saying if you want security, if you want a feeling of security, if you want to go through life with certainty get a piece of the rock. There is real sound advice in that commercial for although the insurance company can’t provide ultimate protection Jesus Christ can. Moses said for their rock is not as our rock. Duet. 32:31. Theirs may crumble but ours never will. David further declared lead me to the rock that is higher than I. He wanted security and he found it in god! He wanted stability and he found it in Jehovah! He wanted a sense of certainty and he found it in the everlasting father! If you want help get in the rock. Paul said, ‘that rock is Christ. Get on the rock which is Christ. He brings security in an insecure world. He brings stability when everything around us is unstable. He brings certainty when all around us is uncertain. You cannot live wrong and die right.
