Across this nation there are many multitudes that are Christians and attend the church of their choice. They may be drawn to a particular denomination or teaching. Wonderful. I hope they are truly believers in the Word of God.
Some never look into that precious holy book to see what God said or what desires of us. As Christians we basically know that God is God and that He is all powerful. We know He can do anything (we believe).
If God is God, then what He says is right, true and eternal. He has the final say. What He says, He can and will back it up. So, when He speaks (most of the time through His Word) we should give our undivided attention. We should intently listen and accept what He says.
If God is God then what He says about you is true. You can do what He says you can do. You can have what He says you can have. You are who He says you are. You may not be living up to that. It could be because of unbelief, ignorance, unforgiveness, bad confession, lack of love, etc.
At best, we are merely human beings. We may not know a lot, but God does. We may not be very strong, but God is. You may be a sinner. That is not unique for we all were sinners. It took the blood of Jesus to clean us up. Most of us tried to ourselves but finally had to realize that it was not what we could do but what God, through His Son Jesus Christ did at Calvary’s Cross did for us.
Know this. God has a plan for your life and a purpose for you being here. You are not an accident and you need to know that God is God and He loves you and is not willing for you to perish in sin. He has made provision for you but you must turn to Him, not run from Him.
There is only one true God. He is Jehovah. He is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. That’s what the Bible says. He does not change and He is eternal. You too are eternal and will spend eternity either in Heaven or Hell. Your choice. Don’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Maranatha!
