Perhaps like me, you have never seen the physical face or body of Jesus.
Your eyes have never behold the person of the Holy Spirit or the manifested presence (glory) of God. You may not be able to see Jesus or our Heavenly Father in a physical manner but you can see Him with the eyes of your spirit. God is a spirit and so are you. Sometimes you can see God through one of His children or through the beauty of His creation. You can see Him through the Holy Bible, particularly through the Gospels or the writings of the Apostle Paul or the Apostle Peter. You can see Him in the book of John.
It is a wonder to behold that God would have the love and wisdom to let us see Him. It is through the eyes of your faith that you can see Him. He made it possible that the poorest of the poor or the weakest of the weak can see Him. Even though you cannot fathom Him or understand Him you can know Him by His Word. Even though it is not an audible sound you can hear Him speak to you through Scripture if you will read and meditate on what He said.
If you are a child of God, God will hear you when you cry out to Him. It is not because of your want or need but because of His love in making you righteous through Him. God answers according to our faith and His Word.
He always answers by His Word. Some pray according to their needs and God wants to supply our needs but sometimes we ask amiss. Jas 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. The glory must go to God. Pr 15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. God’s Word says that if we have no faith, we cannot please Him. It is impossible. Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
God set the standard and will not change. Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. You can depend on God but you must honor His Word and do it His way. Let God be God and be blessed.
Maranatha!
