hy was Roy Orbison always seen wearing dark sunglasses? 1- He had an eye condition that required dark glasses, especially when on stage under the lights. 2- With his regular clear glasses he looked too much like Buddy Holly. 3- Once before a performance, he forgot his regular glasses on the plane and could only see if he wore his prescription sunglasses, he just continued wearing them thereafter. 4- He wore them as a prop to look cool because he really didn’t need glasses.
