The second coming is closer than it appears. It’s not uncommon to hear this, I have heard that Jesus is coming soon all of my life and he’s not come yet?
This statement is one of skeptics and scoffers who believe that the second coming of Christ is a myth. Well I will remind the unbelievers one more time – Jesus is coming sooner than you think! You may ask, how are you so certain of the second coming of Christ? Let’s take a look in the book of Joel 2:1. It says – Blow ye the trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm in my holy mountain, let all the inhabitants of the land tremble for the day of the Lord cometh for it is nigh at hand. Luke 21:20, reminds us again, “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.” Luke 21:28 states, and when these things begin to come to pass then look up and lift up your heads for redemption draweth nigh. James 5:8 also confirms, “Be ye also patient, establish your hearts for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.” Seek the indwelling presence and power of the Holy Spirit and your day of the Lord will be a day of eternal gladness and joy with Jesus. Titus 2:13 says, “Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our savior Jesus Christ. Jesus will come back to earth at his second coming in exactly the same way that he departed from the earth when he went to the right hand of the father. Two men in white clothing told the apostles, men of Galilee, ‘Why do you stand gazing up into heaven?’ this same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven will so come in like manner as you saw him go into heaven. Acts 1:11. A visible bodily return. This means first of all that Christ’s return will be a bodily one. Christ had a real body when he was on earth. 1 John 1:1, “And He will come in a real body when he returns.”
You cannot live wrong and die right.
