Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough and they all look to their own way, everyone for gain, from his quarter. Isaiah, 56:11. Greed is an unreasonable or all absorbing desire to acquire things or wealth. It can take all kinds forms including a grasping for money, possessions, luxury, food, power, or any number of other things.
One test of greed is that it is never satisfied. Review Isaiah, 56:11. Another test is that the greedy person has little or no regard for the needs of others and may think nothing of hurting others or taking advantage of others in order to get more. Proverbs 22:22-23 says, “Rob not the poor because he is poor neither oppress the afflicted in the gate. For the Lord will plead their cause and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
There are people who look for ways to take advantage of anyone and everyone they can. They take delight in kicking others when they are down. They are cunning and ruthless and merciless. God will have nothing to do with anyone who lives by abusing the poor and helpless, God is on the side of the meek. When they are attacked God is attacked. The poor may not be able to defend themselves but God certainly is. God will remember those who work to spoil the afflicted and he in turn will spoil their souls. God is love and those who live by hate and evil will have no reward from him. Remember, anger is the wind that blows out the light of the brain. A temper is a valuable possession so don’t lose it
