Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough and they are shepherds that cannot understand they all look to their own way every one for his gain from his quarter.
Come ye say they I will fetch wine and we will fill ourselves with strong drink and tomorrow shall be this day, and much more abundant. Isaiah 56:11-12. Deliverance is of God not of man. The greatest success in the world is being obedient to the will of God. Doctrines of greed. Many false doctrines are running rampant in our nation. People seem to believe almost anything that came across the airwaves or across pulpits they are preaching doctrines of greed some so called ministers are lining their pocket with healing campaigns.
Divine healing is a bible doctrine, but it is not to be used for mammon or money or personal gain. Healing is a spiritual gift from the Holy Spirit. See 1 Corinthians Chapter 12 and James 5:14-15. Greed is an unreasonable or all absorbing desire to acquire things or wealth. It can take all kinds of forms including a grasping desire for money, possessions, luxury food, power or any number of other things. One test of greed is that it is never satisfied. Review Isaiah 56:11, and Romans 16:17-18. The prophet Isaiah said of the greed of his own day they are dogs with mighty appetites, shepherds they never have enough Isaiah 56:11-12. Another test is that the greedy person has little or no regard for the needs of others and may think nothing of hurting others or taking advantage of others in order to get more.
His or her life is dominated by greed and selfishness. Greed is repeatedly condemned in the bible one of the Ten Commandments declares you shall not covet your neighbor’s house or anything that belongs to your neighbor. Exodus 20:17. It is not wrong to want to work and earn a decent living in fact God has given work to us. But watch this legitimate desire can very easily cross the line into greed. We need to be on guard against greed, therefore but above all we need to make sure our lives are centered in Christ and not things. Remember, how can we know what is right and wrong?
All day long they say they are riding the gravy train and get mad when I say they are stealing. What is right? Fix your thoughts on what is right and pure and good. Remember, we need not jump into the cesspool to see that it stinks but we must know where people are coming from to reach them for Christ? You cannot live wrong and die right.
