Woodrow Clayton “Woody” Starcher, 72, of Widen, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at his home. He was the son of the late Clyde and Audrey Clendenin Starcher and was born at Montgomery January 31, 1944. He was a lifelong coal miner.
He was survived by his wife, Connie Reed Starcher; sons Kalvin (Drama) Starcher, Clyde (Paula) Starcher and Ronald (Jeannie) Starcher; daughters Patsy (Frankie) Tolley and Virginia (Cricket) Kirby; grandchildrenCandie Murphy, Amber (Jonathan) Edington, Ginna and Nicholas Kirby; and great grandsons Avery and Keagan Edington.
He will be missed by many.
Friends called at the Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday August 20, 2016 . His body was cremated at the conclusion of services.
