Montgomery– Scotty Eugene Short, 72, of Montgomery, entered into rest Sunday, November 13, 2016.
Born March 23, 1944 in Kanawha County, he was the son of the late Oakey and Blanche (Jeffery) Short.
Scotty is survived by his sons, Mike Neal of Indianapolis, In., Scott Short Jr. of Dixie, Anthony Short of Cannelton, Thomas Short of Mt. Nebo, Joseph Short of Montgomery, Timothy Rosette of Powellton; daughter, Drema Lee of Indianapolis, In.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Mark , Ronald, Donald, Danny and Clayton; and sister, Reenie Short.
Graveside service was held 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore.
