Powellton, WV – Ross Lee Bledsoe, 60, of Powellton, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at his sister, Emma Lee Perry with whom he made his home with.

Born August 18, 1954 in Gassaway, he was the son of the late Max and Pauline (Tucker) Bledsoe, in addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister, Laura Pritt and half-sister Peggy and brother, Bill.

He worked for 30 years for Jarke Corp in Niels, Ill. He was a very kind and caring person to everyone he meet.  He leaves behind many friends in Montgomery area and Mt. Carbon. Ross attended Open Door Community Church and was a Christian.

Ross is survived by his twin sister, Rose Allen of Cumming, GA, sisters, Emma Lee Perry of Powellton, Edith Brown of Bickmore, Donna Stinnett of Cottle, Rochella Eyler of Powhatan, VA, Loretta Dickinson of Martinsburg, Vicky Hess of Summersville, Jo – Ann James of Clay, brothers, Max Bledsoe of Summersville, Dean Bledsoe of Syracuse, NY and Gordon Ray of St. Albans and half-brother, Jerry Bledsoe of Glen Daniel.

In Lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Kanawha Hospice, 1606 Kanawha Blvd West Charleston, WV 25387-2536 or to A.A. of Montgomery, WV call Greg at 304-949-4205 to make a donation

Funeral service was held 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 21, 2014 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister David James officiating.  Burial was in the Friend Cemetery, Ivydale.
