Robert Wayne McKinney, 57, of Summersville, entered into rest Sunday, January 6, 2019.

Born January 26, 1961 in Widen, he was the son of the late Bob and Hester (Taylor) McKinney.

Robert is survived by his wife, Orpha (Carte) McKinney of Summersville; sons, Eric McKinney of Peach Orchard, Robbie McKinney of Jane Lew and Lorenza Carte of Clay; daughters, Jodi Davis of Weston, Barbara Dancy of Weston, Randi McKinney of Jane Lew, Jo Ann Keen of Harrison and Janie McKinney of Creek Side, PA; sixteen grandchildren; brother, Ricky McKinney of Durham, N.C. ; sisters, Sharon Adkins of Dog Run, Debbie Hamrick of Swandale, Kathy Tinney of Widen and Joyce Jones of Bomont.

A funeral service was held Saturday, January 12, at Wilson-Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Ronnie Tinney officiating.  Burial followed in the Dancy Cemetery, Dille.

Friends gathered with family one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
