Ravenswood, WV – Ralph (Willie) Williams, 85, of Ravenswood, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014.
He was born in Gilmer, West Virginia on January 9, 1929, to the late Mildred Matheny Williams and Ralph Williams.
He served as an aviator for 20 distinguished years in the Navy and Air Force. Following his military retirement he worked at the Ford Plant in Vermillion, Ohio for 20 years.
He was married to the love of his life the late Oleta Jeanine Jones and is survived by his children, Terry Williams and partner, Rick Kilgore of San Diego, CA, David Williams and wife Janet, of Vermillion, Ohio, Ralph (Butch) Williams of Dayton, Ohio, Keith Williams and wife Darlene of Hundred, West Virginia, Tony Williams of Ravenswood, West Virginia, and Jodie Wise and husband Tim of Ravenswood, West Virginia. He is also survived by grandchildren, Katie Mae Williams, Dalania Jane Williams, Jessica Wise (JJ), Cody Wise, Tony Kesterson, Amanda Kesterson, and Joshua Adams and 2 great grandchildren, Caleb Chalden, and Demi Crow.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Widen, WV, at 1:00 pm.
Friends may visit the family at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, on Friday, October 17, 2014, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
