Ovapa, WV – Patrick Stephen Perdue, 46, of Ovapa, entered into rest Friday, April 8, 2016. Born January 31, 1970, in Blue Creek, he was the son of James and Glenna (O’Dell) Perdue of Ovapa.
Stephen was unique, spontaneous, outgoing charming, fun-loving guy who will be missed by all. In addition to his parents Steve is survived by his daughter, Lillian Perdue; son, Patrick Stephen Perdue II both of Elkview; brother, Eric (Vicky) Perdue of Ovapa;  sisters, Kara (Brett) Stover and Julia (George) Wilkinson of Ovapa; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service was held 3:00 P.M Monday, April 11, 2016, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Geoff Hamrick officiating.  Burial was in Ovapa Church of God Cemetery, Ovapa.
Happy moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God.  Quiet, moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God. Every moment, thank God.  Rick Warren.
