Widen, WV – Olive Ruth Young, 83 of Widen died Tuesday January 5, 2016 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Henry Franklin and Nina Marie Lively Davis and was born at Bergoo April 25, 1932. She was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Junior Camdon “Punk” Young; brother Eddie Davis; sisters Rebecca Keener and Betty Kloephor.
She is survived by two sons: Scott Young of Birch River and Terry Young of Medina, Ohio; three daughters: Helen Ruth Curtis, Versailles, Kentucky; Joannie Carol Neff, Goose Creek, SC and Ruthie Swiger, Wadsworth, Ohio; Brother Franklin Davis, Summersville; five sisters: Connie Carpenter, Frances Lanzi, both of New Jersey; Alice Unger, Walton; Patty Gentilini. Brooksville, Florida; Dreamalea Shaver, Jane Lew; 11 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren.
Nondenominational funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Saturday January 9, 2016 in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Rev. Randy Tinney officiating.
