Sophia, WV – Marion Adam Lanham, 77, of Sophia, entered into rest Saturday, April 2, 2016 at his residence.
Born June 4, 1938, he was the son of the late Okie and Dottie (Cottrell) Lanham. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Matthew Steven Foster.
Marion is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Marie (Moore) Lanham; sons, Frankie Foster of Maple Fork, David Ramsey of IN., Joey Lanham of N.C., John Adams of Va., and Scotty Foster of Oak Hill; daughters, Connie Moore of Dixie, Linda Jarrett of Summersville, Lynn Corbit of Craigsville, Patty Wiseman of Spencer and Alisha Foster of Sophia; twenty three grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the House of Prayer Church, Scrabble Creek, with Minister Ronald Moore officiating.
Friend may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
