Marilou Legg, 54, of Wallback, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, February 12, 2018 due to apparent cardiac arrest at her residence.

She was born July 29, 1963, in Charleston, to Mary Moss and the late William Clyde Moss.

Marilou was a Registered Nurse for CAMC Hospitals in Charleston. She also volunteered as a nurse for Clay County Schools. She was a proud member of Stump Chapel Church, Tesla where she was past President of the Woman’s Circle for two years. Marilou was the secretary for the West Virginia Baptist Annual Conference. She was instrumental in the Clay and Roane Counties flood relief helping countless neighbors to receive food, clothing and shelters. Marilou will always be known for her loving heart. She was the best partner a minister could have, she was selfless in giving to her family, church family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Rev. Teddy Lee Legg; son, Nathan Legg (Ashley) of Spencer; daughter, Cyndi Legg at home; mother, Mary Moss of Newton; brother, William David Moss of Newton; grandchildren, Carson, Annahbella, and Rose, also surviving several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral services were held 1:30 pm, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Stump Chapel Church , Tesla with Rev. Darius Walker officiating. Friends called one hour before the service at the church. Burial followed at the Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore, WV.

Greene-Robertson Funeral Home is humbly serving the Legg family. Online condolences may be sent to:greene-robertsonfuneralhome.com
