Clay — Lloyd Dayton Nichols, of Clay, entered into rest Monday, January 16, 2017.

Born April 14, 1937, in Clay County, he was the son of Alma Nichols.

Lloyd is survived by daughters, Toni Jackson of Cannelton and Tammy Nichols of Charleston; sister, Gretta Pritt of Kimberly; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Suzy Gobsey of Montgomery and Vickie Pritt of Maysel and ex-wife, Filomena Nichols.

Funeral service was held 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Don Dobbins officiating. Burial will be Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore. Friend may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
