Larry Alan King
Fairborn,OH – Larry Alan King passed away April 26, 2015 suddenly at his home. He was born September 12, 1950 in Clay, West Virginia. He attended Clay County High School, and served his country in the United States Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his father Lawrence; mother Stella and brothers Craig and Roger King. Larry is survived by his wife Joyce King; step-sons Shane Barnette & Shilo Cooper; and granddaughter Abigale Jane Marie Cooper; one brother Gary and his wife Beverly King of Clay West Virginia. He has several nieces and nephews and a best friend Ray Rhodes.
His occupation was a truck driver and previously a Paramedic. Larry was the owner of King Industries Trucking Company. He previously worked for Wagner Trucking and Foodliner. His hobbies included camping, reading, military history, and he was a lifetime member of the NRA. Larry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during Vietnam. A funeral service was held on Wednesday April 29, 2015 at 10 am with Pastor Tim Walden officiating. Interment followed at Byron Cemetery. Pallbearers were Shane Barnette, Shilo Cooper, Bobby Hutchinson, Andy McCaslin, Larry Blevins, and Cody Hutchinson. A reception was held at the Fairborn Family Restaurant 419 Broad Street Fairborn, Ohio following the graveside service.
