Morgantown, WV – John Camden Duffield, 87, of Gassaway, passed away November 4, 2015 at Mapleshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Morgantown.
He was born July 15, 1928 in Clay County a son of the late Vince and Rouie Hayes Duffield. He was preceded in death by companion Patricia “Tinker Bell” Nottingham.
John was retired from Cadillac Motors and was part owner of P and R Pizza. He was an Army veteran.
He is survived by daughter, Janice Noffsinger and husband, Dave of Michigan; granddaughters, Diana, Shelby and Jennifer; great granddaughter, Abigale; brothers, Kenneth Duffield and wife, Sylvia of Elyria, OH, Cam Duffield and wife, Lenore of Avon, OH and Gary Duffield and wife, Loretta of Duck; sister, Denise Holcomb of Clay; special family, William Joshua Robinson and Britney Ashton Crookshanks.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Everette Duffield, Larry Duffield and Timmy Duffield; sister, Macel Dean; companion
Service was 1 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway. Burial with military rites was in the Duffield Cemetery, Duck.
