Maysel, WV – Jimmie “Shakey” Legg, 75, of Maysel, entered into rest Friday, February 19, 2016.
Born on March 16, 1940 in Fayette, he was the son of the late Delbert and Norma (Wills) Legg.
He was a Army veteran and a retired welder.
Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Legg of Maysel; son, Allen (Tayma) Legg of Gassaway; daughters, Melissa (Pat) Legg of Fola, Norma Davis of Maysel and Rose Dobbins of Clay; grandchildren , Matthew Legg, Natalie (Josh) Starcher, Holly (Abe) Osborne, Kayla (Jack) Case, Hali Matheney and Erica Davis; great-grandchildren, Lillian and Russell Starcher and Liam Naylor.
A funeral service was held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, February 22, 2016 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Gary Drake and Allen Legg officiating.
