Jerry Bryant Bird, 53, of Handford, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
Born January 25, 1965, in Charleston, he was the son of Jerry and the late Peggy (Hunt) Bird.
He graduated from Clay County High School and attended West Virginia Tech. Jerry was employed by the West Virginia Public Service Commission, Electronics Technician for the Transportation Enforcement Division.
Bryan’s favorite vacation destination was Folly Beach, South Carolina and he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing and cheering on the Mountaineers!
In addition to his father, left to mourn his death is his only sister, Tammy Bragg; two sons, Andrew and Vincent Bird; and many relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held Sunday, September 2, at Ovapa Church of God, 43 Ovapa Church Road, WV, 25164
