Quaker City, OH – James A Crawford, 82, of Quaker City, formerly from Dalton, passed away at his home on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016.
He was born in Procious, WV, on Jan. 10, 1934, a son of the late Annos C. Crawford and Emma Woods.
Mr. Crawford was a retired maintenance mechanic for Volvo GM Heavy Truck in Orville plant one. He was a member of the Massillon Moose Lodge 481 and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.
James left behind his wife of 58 years, Hazel R. (Anderson) Crawford; three daughters, Marquette (Robert) Kvochick of Quaker City, Bonita Graybill of Byesville and Patricia (Anthony) McLaughlin of Marietta; a son, James E. (Jennifer) Crawford of Quaker City; a sister, Norma Chapman of Elk River, WV; four grandchildren, Jesse, Rebecca, Kyle and Shelby; five grand-children, Lilly, Landon, Mia, Adelyn and Colton; and many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Dennis, Edward and Dencil Crawford; and a sister, Rita Bee.
