Indianapolis, IN – George E. Browning, 73, of Indianapolis, IN passed away July 28, 2015. He was born to Emerson and Mary Susie Browning on March 30, 1942 in Procious, WV.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Sue Browning; son Troy E. Browning; daughter in law Rachelle Scruggs; grandchildren Larry
Combs, Heather Ham, Laicea Browning, Savanna Scruggs; Great-grandchildren Mylah Ham and Toryn Scruggs. He also leaves behind a brother, Paul (Eddie) and sisters Ruby, Gladys and Jean.
George Joined the U.S. Army on August 7, 1962 in Fairmont, WV and honorable served his country for three years, being discharged in August 1965.
He is extremely loved and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 1 pm at The Point Church and Community Center, 2578 Donica Road, Greenwood, IN 46143. Visitation was held from 11 am until the time of service.
