Fred Sampson, 87, of Ivydale, entered into rest Thursday, November 16, 2017.
Born September 7, 1930 in Roane County, he was the son of the late Herman and Bessie (Nichols) Sampson.
Fred is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sampson; sister, Annabelle Davis; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay. Burial will be in the Douglas Cemetery, Ivydale.
Friend may gather with family two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
