Bill lived for his family and loved every member dearly. He did have a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and his new great grandson. He packed as much life as anyone ever has into 69 years. He wore his heart on his sleeve and would give you the shirt off his back. To have known him was to love him. He never met a stranger, nor would he ever turn away someone in need. Bill was retired/disabled from the Clay County Sheriff’s Department and was immensely proud of his time in law enforcement. Every life that he touched is better for knowing him. He will be missed.
A graveside service was held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Hively Cemetery with Minister Dean Rogers officiating.
