Ethel “Murt” Virginia Nelson

Ethel “Murt” Virginia Nelson, 67, of Harrison, WV, passed away July 18, 2017, at the home of her sister, Linda Richardson.

Ethel was born May 8, 1950, in Braxton County, a daughter of the late Jink and Ava Gray Nelson. She was preceded in death by her companion, Marsh Rose, and brothers, Dodd and Arthur.

She is survived by her sisters, Linda Richardson, Roxie (PeeWee) Schoolcraft, and brother, Dorsey (Eunice) Thomas. She loved spending time with her family.

A celebration of Ethel’s life was held on Friday, July 21, 2017, at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Freddie Schoolcraft officiating. Interment was at Chapman Cemetery, Groves Creek.
