Ivydale, WV – Erma Rada McCune, 92, of Ivydale, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 21, 2016.
Born March 12, 1924 in Clay, she was the daughter of the late Onico and Ida (Workman) O’Brien.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her loving husband Earl McCune.
She was a homemaker, a 50 year member of the Big Otter Baptist Church and a longtime supporter of the disabled Veterans
Erma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Roger Rice of Elyria, Ohio; sons and daughter-in-law, Boyd and Gina McCune of Charleston and Roger McCune  of Parkersburg; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Marmell O’Brien of Enoch; and a special helpful friend, Sharon Vaughn of Duck.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Wayne Litton.  Burial will be in Clay Memorial Gardens, Clay.
Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 24, at the funeral home.  Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kanawha Blvd E, Charleston, WV  25301.
