Wallback, WV – Earl “Jim” Clayton Ferrebee Sr. 79, of Wallback entered into rest Friday, October 31, 2014.
Born October 12, 1935 in Wallback, he was the son of the late Howard and Audrey (Summers) Ferrebee. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Juanita (Gray) Ferrebee.
He retired from WV D.O.H. He was truck driver and a mower operator, was a member of the Clay County Masonic Lodge 97 A.F. & A.M. and former president of the Big Otter Community Center.
Earl is survived by his sons, Earl Clayton Peters of Gallipolis Ohio, Earl Clayton “Jimmy” Ferrebee Jr. of Valley Fork, daughters, Marcia Summers of Scott Town, Ohio, Lisa Miller of Valley Fork, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brothers, Andrew “Bud” Ferrebee of Maysel, David Ferrebee of Spencer, Basil Ferrebee of Elkview, Woodrow “Dickie” Ferrebee of Harrison, sisters, Marlene Ferrebee of Grantsville, Helen Cottrell and Jane Burkhamer both of Wallback.
Friend called from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay.
