Lizemores, WV – Deanna Lynn VanMeter Stover, 65 of Lizemores passed away on Saturday morning, June 21, 2014 at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston.
Born on April 27, 1949 at Bentree, she is the daughter of the late Pete and Helen (Morris) VanMeter.
She was a cook for the Nicholas County Board of Education and of the Baptist faith.
Left to cherish her loving memory are her husband, James William Stover; son, Matthew and wife, Arika Stover of Gauley Bridge; daughter, Crystal Brown and husband Jeffrey Whitt of Dixie; grandchildren, Zach Brown, Kenzie Brown, Mikki Brown, Caelyb Stover, Kynnedi Stover, and expected in July, Deazel Stover; her first great-grandchild, whom is expected in December; siblings, Brenda Romeo and husband, Earl, Kenneth VanMeter and wife, Louise, Kelvin VanMeter and wife, Debbie, Cindy VanMeter and husband, James and Keith VanMeter and wife, Crystal; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge with the Reverend Jadie Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Adonijah Community Cemetery, Adonijah.
