David Allen Goode, 57, of Maysel, was taken from his family on Monday, August 6, 2018.
Born February 28, 1961, in Summersville, he was the son of Sarah (Shamblin) Goode and the late Homer Goode.
He was a member of the Clay County Lodge 97 and the Local 369 Pipeline’s union.
In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife of 26 years, Tina (Vaughan); his sons, Justin (Britney) and Matthew; granddaughter, Kennedy; brother, Donald; sister, Marsha; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Saturday, August 11, at Wilson-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Dennis Legg officiating. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore, with a Masonic service.
