Daniel Boone Grose Sr., 64, entered into rest November 1, 2020 after a long illness. Daniel was born March 7, 1956 in Summers County to the late Beaulah (Cadle) Cutlip and the late Hubert Grose.
Daniel was a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Daniel was married to Connie (Wyant) Grose and had three children, Daniel Grose Jr. (Bobbie Jo Grose), 46, Teria (Grose) Skeens (Chris Skeens), 44, and Joshua Grose (Tara Grose), 43. Daniel had seven grandsons and two granddaughters, Carter Morton, 27, Elijah Grose, 23, Cullen Grose, 22, Jacob Grose, 22, Ashton Morton, 22, Jaylen Jarvis, 22, Colby Grose, 18, Brianna Jarvis, 15, and Ryland Lilly, 12. Daniel also had four great-grandchildren, Sylus Morton, Brynleigh Grose, Ezra Grose, and Zakyrie Morton. Daniel also had five brothers and two sisters with many nieces, nephews, and his Hannah.
Daniel was a West Virginia coal miner for 31 years and a Christian. Daniel was a youth baseball and basketball coach for many years. Daniel was also a hunter and fisherman who loved fishing with his grandsons.
Daniels memorial service was held at Horner Fork Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday November 7, 2020 at 1 p.m. in Procious, West Virginia
