Indore, WV – Cora Fugate, 92, of Indore, entered into rest Friday, July 17, 2015, at Hubbard Hospice House of Charleston after a long illness.
Born May 29, 1923 in Indore, she was the daughter of the late James S. “Duke” and Dessie (Neal) Nottingham. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Harold Fugate and son, James Robert Fugate, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cora is survived by her son, Jerry (Mary Lee) Fugate, daughters, Cloa “Blue Eyes” Nottingham Teresa (Arnold) Stewart in whom she made her home with, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Mike Holcomb. Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore.
Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
