Elmira, WV – Charles Lee Duncan, 84, of Elmira, went to his heavenly home May 10, 2016 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 30, 1932 a son of the late William Asbury and Anna Belle Talkington Duncan.
He was preceded in death by brothers, William “Bill” Duncan and Keith Metheney; sister, Nancy Duncan.
He loved to hunt, fish and listen to Blue Grass music.
He is survived by brother, Thomas Duncan of Akron, OH; sisters, Virginia Hall of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Martha Gill and Sherry Davis both of Barboursville, Mary Duncan of St. Albans, Wilma Hall of Sissonville and Glenna Metheney of St. Albans; his special caregiver for 27 years, Maysel; several nieces and nephews.
Service was held at 2 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Gip Church with Pastor Russell Copen and Pastor Lester Tanner officiating. Burial was in the Elmira Cemetery.
Visitation was two hours prior to service at the church.
