Fayetteville — Charles Clark Harper Sr. ,76 , of Fayetteville, entered into rest on Saturday, September 24, 2016.
Born on December 22, 1940, he was the son of the late Cecil Clark and Londie Marie (Hickman) Harper. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Bethal Jean (Moore) Harper; and brother, Holmes Edward Harper.
Charles is survived by his son, Charles Harper Jr.; daughter, Cindy Harper; brother, Patrick Allen Harper; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Minister Shane Wynn officiating. Burial followed in the Elliot Cemetery, Adonijah, WV.
Family received friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
