Bradford Allen Salisbury, 86, of Clay, entered into rest, Sunday, June 3, 2018.
Born May 1, 1932 in Enoch, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Barbara (Hamrick) Salisbury.
Bradford was born at home, in the mountains of Dog Run. He was a devoted Christian and loved singing and playing the guitar in church and anywhere or any time someone would enjoy listening. Talent, with his hands, wasn’t short. Of his many accomplishments, he was a carpenter, plumber, electrician, logger, train engineer and even was known to sew a quilt or two in his time. He loved hunting and to peddling in his shop. He was always there for his family and will be greatly missed by them and the many people whose lives he touched over the years. But, among everything, he was the greatest daddy ever!
Bradford is survived by his wife, Maysel (Tanner) Salisbury of Clay; sons, Terry (Brenda) Salisbury of New London, OH, Tony (Yvonne) Salisbury of Clay and Teddy (Michelle) Salisbury of Clay; daughter, Trina (Terry) Burchett of Clay; sister, Mavis Adkins of Dixie; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, June 6, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating. Burial will be in Salisbury Cemetery, Dog Run.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to Kanawha Hubbard House.
