Lizemores, WV – Betty Gene Taylor, 76, of Lizemores, entered into rest Monday, October 12, 2015 at her home.
Born January 20, 1939 in Bickmore, she was the daughter of the late Ezekiel “Rice” and Ruby (Stephenson) Holcomb. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Taylor, great-grandson, Nykan Detamore and brother, Mark Holcomb.
Betty is survived by her husband, Escar “Tenny” Taylor of Lizemores, sons, Larry (Kim) Taylor of Greensboro, PA., Jeff (Fran) of Lizemores, daughters, Susan (Ralph) McNemar of Charlton Heights, Cathy (Mike) Jones, Jean Ann Hodge all of Lizemores, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, brothers, Robert Holcomb of Clay, Jim Holcomb of Xenia, OH and sister Sharon Gray of Indore.
A memorial service was held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Sycamore Community Missionary Baptist Church.
