Barbara Gail Lane Smith, 64, of Ivydale, entered into rest on Thursday, March 1, 2018.

She was born on August 28, 1953, to the late Kenna and Clara (Lewis) Lane. Barbara was the beloved companion of the late Dallas Stutler; and was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Barbara lived a full life of love and blessings with God in her heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to church. She never let her longtime illness slow her down or stop her from pursuing what made her happy and brought her joy. Her favorite pastime was making others happy, writing poetry and reading her Bible.

She was a loving mother of Jason (Carol) Smith, Don (Cathy) Stutler, Walter (Shelly) Stutler, Henry Stutler, Billy (Annie) Stutler; cherished grandmother to eighteen grandchildren and thirty eight great-grandchildren; six sisters; and four brothers.

Funeral service will be held noon, Monday, March 5, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay.  Burial will be in Walker Cemetery on Keeners Ridge.

Friends may gather with family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, she would love for you to donate money to Parkinson’s research to help others. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.carlwilsonfuneralhome.com
