I never met Alyce but I have one of her books I also was born in Clay County. I have had her book for years just found it this morning while cleaning out my office. started thinking of how I could get in touch with her. I too write books. looked at the paper where she worked and was shocked to find that she had just died. maybe just a coincidence, but I wonder?
