Duck, WV – Clarice Jean Pettit, 78, of Duck, entered into rest Friday, April 22, 2016.
Born May 29, 1937 in Ira, WV, she was the daughter of the late William Scott and Ora Legg. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Noble Pettit; brothers, Denver, Neal, Elmer, Lawrence and Franklin; sisters, Bessie Braley and Grace Gratz.
Clarice is survived by her sons, Bruce, Darrell and Todd Pettit; daughters, Deborah Oldham and Cheryl Wert; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Stanley, and Norman Legg; sisters, Eleanor Duffield and Ruth Hardway; two special people in her life Barb and Susan.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay. Burial will be in the Legg Cemetery, Widen Ridge.
