Summersville, WV – Roger Edward Sattler, 70 years of age of Summersville died Sunday March 6, 2016 in the CAMC Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Tine and Millie Taylor Sattler and was born in Clay County February 3, 1946. Roger was the owner of Sattler Drywall in Summersville and a member of the Peoples Community Church at Flat Fork.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Beverly, son; Roger Edward Sattler Jr., brother; Ronald and sisters Annabelle Newman and Loretta Robinson.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Melanie Canter and husband James of Clay, Lisa Sattler Frame, of Summersville; Sisters, Mary Susan Lewis of Strange Creek, Judy Gail Jennings of Indiana, Ellen Triplett, of Lodi, OH, Gwinn Hall and Jenny Triplett both of Sutton; 2 Grandchildren, Amelia “Millie” Frame and Luke Aaron Frame.
Funeral services were conducted 1 p.m. Saturday March 12, 2016 in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Rev. Freddie Schoolcraft officiating. Burial followed in the Sattler Cemetery at Clay.
