This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 Timothy 3:1. Timothy could not have said it better. In the last days perilous times shall come. Friend, I believe with all my heart that we are living in the last days. Never has so much sickness ravaged a land or country as it has this one. Never has crime been so fierce as it is now. We have teenagers killing teenagers. In the cities you can’t even go out for an evening walk anymore. The next car driving by might be the one that stops and opens fire for no reason. We have drug pushers that don’t care who they sell drugs to as long as they get their money. There are teenage kids that are so strung out on this stuff that they don’t know who they are. There are parents who, if they don’t get their fix on drugs, can’t make it through the day. What has happened? In case you didn’t know there is a devil loose and America is possessed? The spiritual forces of darkness and wickedness in high places are at work everywhere you look from the government of our country to the churches in our country. There is a devil loose? And if he doesn’t already have you he’s after you. One out of every four homes in the U.S. is affected by violent crime. An estimated over two million children were abused or neglected.
An estimated about two million women are beaten each year, one every 16 seconds. Wickedness is being promoted on an alarming scale today and society on the whole does not seem to care. Apathy is rampant. Who is speaking out against the corruption in our society? Who even notices the immoral practices that are rapidly being embraced by and condoned by worldly people? And delivered just lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked. For that righteous man dwelling among them in seeing and hearing vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds, 2 peter 2:7-8. The Bible still condemns these evils that have just been mentioned whether folks like it or not. New names have been invented to cover up and soften the blow of the true nature of evil.
