Dr. Rondal Joe Boyce

Sutton, WV – Dr. Rondal Joe Boyce, 46, of Sutton, died as a result of an auto accident February 25, 2016.
He was born March 20, 1969 in Charlestown, WV the son of Evelyn Louise Cottrill Boyce and the late Rondal James Boyce.
He was known to many as Joe or Superman. He was a local Physician, Scout Master of Troop #1 Sutton, actor, avid outdoorsman, Pokémon champion, and traveler. He enjoyed exotic foods, comedy, comic books, video games and above all else spending time with family and friends. Considered a second father to many, his departure is a loss to his family and community that can never be filled.
He is survived by his loving wife; Dr. Jeanette Helen Jackson Boyce; Sons: Robert James and Richard Jackson Boyce at home; Mother: Evelyn Louise Boyce of Sutton; Brother: Rodney James Boyce and wife Tawney and also extended family Steven and Charlotte Lynch as well as countless family and friends.
Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Gassaway, and a Superman send off celebration was held at Braxton Senior Citizen Building in Sutton Tuesday, March 1, 2016. In lieu of flowers donations will be set up for Dr. Rondal Joe Boyce Domestic Violence and Rape for this is a cause dear to his heart.
