Duck, WV – Betty Jane Cantrell, 85, of Duck, passed away January 29, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
She was born March 6, 1930 a daughter of the late Ernest “Red” and Grace Seabolt Truman.
She was preceded in death by bothers, Alfred and Joe Truman; sisters, Olga Ratliff, Lizzie Shingler and Ann Johnson.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Villa Nova Missionary Baptist Church.
Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles Cantrell; sons, Randy Cantrell (Mahalia) of Duck and Ernie Cantrell (Debbie) of Frametown; daughter, Patty Mayes of Duck; brother, Okey “Doc” Truman (JoAnn) of Duck; sister, Joan Dawson (Jim) of Duck; grandchildren, Julie Greenlee (Brian) of Duck, Jeremy Cantrell (Brenna) of Duck, Amanda Chapman (Derek) of Duck and Emily Parlett (Jason) of Frametown; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Hubbard Hospice House for their kindness and comfort they provided.

Service was 3 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Bob Jett officiating. Interment was in the Cantrell Family Cemetery, Duck.
