Big Otter Elementary ‘Readers are Leaders’ Program

Top readers are:  Kindergarten: Abigail Grandon and Olivia Lanham; 1st grade: Blake Coleman and Katelyn Jarvis, 2nd grade: Eli Metheney and Elijah Sheldon, 3rd grade: Joshua Sheldon and Ottumn Metheney, 4th grade: CeCe Metheney, 5th grade: Emma Jones and Gracie Eagle.

Students at Big Otter Elementary keep a reading log of how many minutes they read each day. Students then earn points to become the top reader for their class! This program is call “Readers are Leaders!” When students read more, they become better leaders in the classroom and set good examples for others to follow. The following students have earned the “Readers are Leaders!” top award for the month of December. Congratulations!
