Brooklyn Paige Burford, age 12, from Clay County, WV traveled to Los Angeles this summer to compete in the week long Miss America Pageant. Brooklyn was one of 47 contestants contending for title of Pre-Teen Miss America. She was crowned Miss Congeniality, Most Photogenic, and First Runner-Up. Brooklyn is the daughter of Tim and Pam Taylor and sister to Mackenzie. She is also a 6th grade student at Clay County Middle School. She models for Applause International, Uden media, and Kept/Karma Photo Co. She currently holds the state title of Junior Miss America West Virginia and Miss West Virginia International 2013. Brooklyn’s goal in life is to someday be Miss America and become a Dermatologist.
