The real meaning of Christmas is the celebration of the love of God that is so great that He would send to us His own beloved Son as a sacrifice to redeem every sinner on the planet. It is the celebration of the birth of Jesus, the Christ that we could be spared the wrath and judgment of God. It is a message of love and of eternal significance.
God gave Adam dominion over this planet and Adam turned it over to Satan. Satan has wreaked havoc ever since and still today God gets the blame. God is love and He wants you to be the beneficiary of that love by receiving forgiveness of your sins through acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ is the only means by which we are forgiven of our sins and restored to relationship with God. Jesus paid the price so you don’t have to. The only alternative is to face the judgment of God in the rejection of His Son and what He accomplished at Calvary by giving His life on the Cross.
We are all the descendants of Adam and because of his sin we were all born sinners and separated from God. Jesus sacrifice paid the price that we could be restored to God and become His children. If the blood of Jesus has not been applied to your life then the sin remains and you are separated from the life God wants you to have. Your choice!
Satan will try to deceive you, confuse you, intimidate you, lie to you and if he can he will kill you. Why? God created you in His image and Satan hates you because you remind him of God.
Don’t be deceived, ask Jesus into your heart and be forgiven your sin and be restored to the life of peace, joy and love. Have a truly “Merry Christmas”.
Maranatha!
