Patrons and participants of the Clay Farmer’s Market got a surprise visit Thursday from the Wolf 96.1 crew. Although the rain kept Wolfie from making an appearance, John DeVincent of the station’s morning show and 96.1 co-worker Jon Hill traveled to the Courthouse Square for a two-hour live broadcast, courtesy of the WVU Extension Office. The purpose of the visit was to promote the weekly farmer’s market, but guests were treated to various gifts and prizes during the remote session as well. Attendees were also entered for a chance to win a customized Bud Light guitar, which will be given away at a later date. Listen to the 96.1 the Wolf for updates, details, live schedules and for more chances to win! Special thanks to the radio crew for withstanding the dreary weather to promote our local farmers.
