Clay Health Care Center invites the community to a health fair at their long-term care facility on Friday, August 28th for health screenings and information, prize-giveaways and food and refreshments.
“We believe in being a great community partner and wanted to bring some health screenings and information to the area,” Brandon S. Totten, Community Relations Manager for American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM), said. “And to bring all that information into one convenient place is a plus for this community.”
The health fair begins at 8am and goes through the afternoon until 2pm. The health fair will feature blood screenings (nothing to eat or drink after midnight) from the Clay County Health Department as well as local pharmacy, dentist and dietician information booths. There will also numerous giveaways.
Recently, CHCC was announced as one of only four long-term care centers in West Virginia, and one of 125 facilities nationwide, to receive the prestigious 2015 Silver National Quality Award Program from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
